Who We Are Therapy Story is a source for counseling offering individual, couples, and family psychotherapy for adults and adolescents (16+). We specialize in relationship concerns, perinatal mental health, trauma, anxiety, depression, and grief while providing culturally responsive care for AAPI, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ communities. We offer in-person therapy in Bloomfield, New Jersey, as well as virtual sessions throughout New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Our Mission Therapy Story was founded with the intention to encourage those they serve to know that the work to heal with others begins with healing for ourselves. Often, we are so focused on the outcome we may lose our road to get there. The team at Therapy Story prides themselves on being able to meet their clients in the here and now and guide the process for them while ensuring their needs are heard, met, and utilized to guide the clinical process. The story we tell ourselves can guide our behavior. The team at Therapy Story is here to help you read a little slower and make room to rewrite the narrative now. Our work is founded in perinatal mental health and couples work. Our team of diverse clinicians are brought in with an array of specialties to ensure we can support our clients’ needs in house while creating a network of support outside of our practice to assist our clients when necessary. Our work in the community is an important part of who we are. We are always finding ways to collaborate with local businesses to bring them into our home, 1285 Broad Street where we can share the information collected.
