Term Expires 6.30.2028 Councilman Frank Velez III is a lifelong resident of Belleville, New Jersey. Having grown up in the Cherry Blossom Capital of America, Frank knows what Belleville needs to truly be the best place to raise a family, own a business, and enjoy a high quality of life for every family and resident. Prior to his election to the Council, Frank served a full 3-year term on the Belleville Board of Education. As a Belleville Board of Education Trustee, Frank fought for special needs families, students, parents, and staff. He remained an independent thinker throughout his term on the Board. As Councilman, Frank is now working to strengthen recreation for children, families and seniors, stabilize taxes, invest in local business and deliver for everyday residents. Councilman Velez is actively involved around the Township as a consistent and accessible public servant, prioritizing the needs of families of all backgrounds and affiliations as an elected official. Councilman Frank Velez III believes that when we all work together, Belleville can be the best place for us all to call home.
