Hospital Leader Installed as Incoming President-Elect of the Belleville-Nutley Kiwanis Club

Belleville, NJ – Joseph Wojtecki, Assistant Director of Patient Experience at Clara Maass Medical Center, was installed as President-Elect of the Belleville-Nutley Kiwanis Club of at the club’s meeting. Wojtecki succeeds Mario Drozdz, who will becoming President of the Club board for the next year.
As presiding officer of the club and the board, the president works closely with the board of directors and committee chairmen to establish and follow a strategic plan, set goals for improving the members’ club experience and increase the impact of the club’s service in the community by adding new members to the club.

“Communities like Belleville and Nutley benefit greatly from organizations like the Kiwanis Club, who love young people and wish to provide them with opportunities in their local towns to help them to thrive, prosper and grow and I am beyond thrilled to have the opportunity to serve as President Elect” said Joseph Wojtecki.

Wojtecki, a resident of Hawthorne, New Jersey since 1992 is the father of three adult sons, Joseph (Veteran –USMC), L.Cpl. Alexander (USMC) and Christian, and is a twenty-five year member of the Hawthorne Fire Department. He is also a Life Member of the Glen Rock Ambulance and Fair Lawn Heavy Rescue Squad and was recently elected to a fifth term on the Hawthorne Borough Council. A parishioner of Saint Anthony’s Church, he serves as a member of the Committee, and in 2012, he was recognized by the New Jersey Healthcare Foundation with the Humanism in Healthcare award.
